Tencent Cloud announced that, after TENCENT (00700.HK) began research and development of its in-house Canghai series codec chips in 2019 and achieved mass production in 2023, more than 100,000 Canghai V1 chips have been deployed across Tencent Cloud and Tencent's proprietary scenarios.
Building on the large-scale deployment of V1, the new-generation Canghai V2 chip has been successfully powered on and entered the mass production cycle, with plans to fully provide services in the second half of 2026.
